- Support the development and execution of strategic plans for the catering facility
- Work closely with senior management to evaluate new opportunities, challenges, and industry trends
- Provide market research and operational data insights to aid decision making
- Develop and maintain KPIs and performance dashboards focused on efficiency, cost control, and service quality
- Utilize BI tools, AI, and analytics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Conduct forecasting and scenario analysis to support business continuity and growth
- Assess strategic projects for feasibility, financial impact, and business goal alignment
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to drive successful project implementation
- Prepare reports, presentations, and strategic updates for senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 5 years of job related experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively across the organization
- Expert knowledge of AI, BI tools, building dashboards
- Advanced skills on Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Access and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with Oracle Financials
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders

About the role
- We are seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Strategy & Planning Specialist to join our team at Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC). In this role, you will support strategic planning and the operational decision making process for our catering facility.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of strategic plans for the catering facility.
- Work closely with senior management to evaluate new opportunities, challenges, and industry trends.
- Provide market research and operational data insights to aid decision making.
- Develop and maintain KPIs and performance dashboards focused on efficiency, cost control, and service quality.
- Utilize BI tools, AI, and analytics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct forecasting and scenario analysis to support business continuity and growth.
- Assess strategic projects for feasibility, financial impact, and business goal alignment.
- Must be able to build a business case from scratch, covering problem definition, cost benefit analysis, risks, and ROI to the presentation to the respective stakeholders / management for approvals.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to drive successful project implementation.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Partner with operations, finance, IT, and procurement teams to align strategies with execution.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
About You
- Bachelor Degree with minimum 5 years of job – related experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, as is the ability to work effectively across the organization. Excellent written, verbal and strong influencing and negotiations skills.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of records and information.
- Expert knowledge of AI, BI tools, building dashboards is a must
- Advanced skills on Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Access and Power Point and proficiency with Oracle Financials.
- Strong Interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including operations, production, HR, and commercial teams.
