Job Purpose

  • Manage and control Air Arabia 'Stores' including receipt, storage, and release of tools, equipment, and spare parts for aircraft maintenance.
  • Ensure all activities are carried and recorded in accordance with company policies and regulatory rules.

Key Result Responsibilities

  • Handles and maintains stock level for daily demanded items and routine jobs.
  • Ensures all items and components are available on time for maintenance tasks.
  • Carries out daily checks and inspections in storage areas for correct conditions.
  • Manages binning locations and allocation of tools and parts in AMOS system.
  • Updates and reviews AMOS system to record and monitor all activities.
  • Pre loads system with requirements for ADD/MDD.
  • Issues daily toolboxes, kits, spare parts based on maintenance plans.
  • Provides ad hoc inventory and stores support.
  • Ensures all tools and equipment are checked and kept serviceable.
  • Ensures issued un used parts are credited back to stock system.
  • Prepares stock report on regular basis.
  • Supports line manager in implementing safety measures and facilities adequacy.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

  • High School/Diploma or certificate in related field; bachelor's preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Very good English Language.
  • Valid Driving License for assigned location.

Work Experience

  • Ability to work rotating shift pattern.
  • 1 2 years related working experience in airline industry; low cost airline experience a plus.
  • Working experience on inventory soft wares an advantage.
  • Experience with civil aviation rules for acceptance, storage, and issuance of tools/equipment.
  • Knowledge of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations training an advantage.
  • Very good organizing and time management skills.
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Familiar with quality assurance, internal and external audit checks.
  • Proven skills in working with data and resources cost effectively.
  • Dependable, self initiative, takes ownership.
  • Multi task oriented with high attention to details.
  • Capable of working under pressure.
