Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Structural/Airframe discipline)
- 4 years experience performing maintenance of aircraft structure & structural parts, preferably Airbus type
- Skilled in fabrication activities, inspections, and task documentation
- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft airframe systems, repair techniques, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent attention to detail with focus on compliance and safety
- Effective communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage time and resources efficiently
- Physically fit and able to work in various operational conditions
- Proficient in computer literacy for maintenance information systems

Job Purpose
- Perform, oversee, and certify structural maintenance on Airline and third party aircraft undergoing line or base maintenance
- Includes repairs and modifications, installation and replacement, inspections, and defect rectification
- Oversee work of assigned technicians, ensuring tasks are carried out, certified, and recorded accurately in compliance with approved standards
Key Result Responsibilities
- Prepare for, perform, and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with task cards, approved data, and regulatory standards
- Oversee work of assigned technicians, resolving technical issues and providing on the job guidance
- Review assigned task cards with Engineer/Supervisor to confirm understanding of work scope, documentation, priorities, and safety precautions
- Conduct thorough inspections and defect rectification, ensuring defects are properly addressed using approved maintenance data
- Record maintenance actions, test results, defect rectification, and parts usage accurately in Maintenance Information system
- Ensure availability, compatibility, and readiness of shop inventory in line with approved standards
- Maintain clear, effective communication with engineers, technicians, and operational teams
- Enforce strict adherence to all safety regulations, maintenance procedures, and human factors principles
- Uphold high housekeeping standards and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Control resource usage, minimizing waste of consumables, preventing repeat work, and optimizing material and repair costs
- Provide professional, proactive, and solution oriented support to operational teams
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
- Diploma or Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Structural/Airframe discipline) or equivalent
- Skilled in fabrication activities, inspections, and task documentation
- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft airframe systems, repair techniques, approved maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent attention to detail with focus on compliance and safety
- Effective communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage time and resources efficiently in a dynamic operational environment
- Physically fit and able to work in various operational conditions (e.g., confined spaces, outdoor environments)
- Ability to work in rostered shifts based on operational requirements
- Proficient in computer literacy for accessing maintenance information systems and documentation
- Awareness of human factors in aircraft maintenance activities
Work Experience
- 4 years experience performing maintenance of aircraft structure & structural parts, preferably Airbus type
- Preferably Company issued Certifying Authorization for aircraft structure OR completion of related training with skills proficiency in lieu of certifications
