About the Role

Responsibilities
- Review, assess and action Repair Quotations for aircraft components
- Establish and manage processing of unserviceable components to external Repair Stations
- Monitor and control repair costs to achieve budgetary goals
- Manage in house repair capability and coordinate with internal workshops
- Coordinate with Engineering Procurement for repair contracts
- Identify and implement cost saving opportunities
- Organize shipping and logistics of aircraft parts to suppliers
- Manage schedule component removals and ensure timely availability
- Establish KPIs and performance review structure with Repair stations
- Establish daily review process for nil stock components
Requirements
- Degree in Aeronautical / Mechanical engineering/ LAME/Technical Diploma
- 7+ years of relevant experience in aircraft repair or maintenance
- Knowledge of airworthiness regulations (GCAA/FAA/EASA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with AMOS is essential

Job Purpose
- Plan and organize end to end processes for aircraft component repair and vendor management to deliver time and cost efficient support to aircraft maintenance.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Reviews, assess & action Repair Quotations for aircraft components and repairable.
- Identifies and collaborates with the team to improve existing process through automation.
- Establishes and manages processing of unserviceable components to external Repair Stations/Vendors.
- Establishes the Repair Process area for unserviceable components/repairable.
- Monitors and controls repair costs to achieve budgetary goals.
- Manages the In house repair capability.
- Coordinates with Engineering Procurement to identify repairs without contract.
- Assists in identification and assessment of new repair shops.
- Identifies and implements cost saving opportunities.
- Maintains close collaboration with Repair administration.
- Organizes and manages shipping and logistics of aircraft parts.
- Manages schedule component removals.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
- Degree in Aeronautical / Mechanical engineering/ LAME/Technical Diploma.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advance skills in excel.
- Extensive knowledge of managing supplier performance and setting KPIs.
- Knowledge of interpretation of repair contracts, IPCs, CMMs, shop reports.
- Familiarity of airworthiness regulations (GCAA/FAA/EASA) is essential.
- Sound understanding of airline engineering and maintenance activities.
- Amos familiarity is essential.
Work Experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
