Job Purpose

  • Support the Payroll Manager in leading the payroll process for assigned areas of business.
  • Ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time, complying with company policies, local labor regulations, and tax laws.
  • Analyze, review, and recommend improvements in current practices and system processes.

Key Result Responsibilities

  • Conduct payroll activities and related data analysis for assigned business areas.
  • Conduct regular analysis of current payroll practices and system processes, identify and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Cross verify and process all requests and system transactions related to payroll.
  • Conduct post payroll checks and extract necessary reports from HR system.
  • Generate and reconcile journal voucher post payroll and submit to Finance for payroll costing.
  • Prepare Recharge reports to be sent to Finance Department.
  • Execute necessary adjustments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payroll release.
  • Monitor and verify all End of Service (EOS) calculations and formalities.
  • Validate eligibility and process Education reimbursements and Housing payments.
  • Monitor attendance system records and calculate overtime payments.
  • Ensure necessary data and evidence for leave, credit hours, training, and absence are obtained.
  • Guide, coach, and share knowledge with other HR team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / HR / Statistics / Administration or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of HR Payroll systems and concepts; HRIS systems such as ERP SAP, Oracle.
  • Domain Knowledge of Airline HR Systems.
  • Strong math and numerical reasoning ability and high accuracy.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • 5 7 years of in depth payroll related experience, preferably in Airlines/Travel/Tourism.
  • Minimum 2 years leading payroll function including administering, configuring, and supporting enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of system dependencies, workflows, integrations, and downstream impacts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of change management process.
  • Experience in leading/developing a team with heavy workload.
