- Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliations
- Receive materials delivered to site and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Inspect received materials for quality, specifications, and potential damages
- Issue materials to authorized personnel and maintain proper documentation
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment
- Update inventory records and ERP systems in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare periodic inventory and stock movement reports for management review
- Comply with BESIX Group HSE policies, procedures, and project requirements

Job Overview
- The Storekeeper is responsible for managing all site store activities, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, control, and issuance of materials, tools, and equipment for project execution.
- The role ensures inventory accuracy, material availability, compliance with company procedures, and adherence to HSE and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all materials, consumables, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests when required.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
- Ensure proper tracking of material movements and inventory transactions.
- Receive materials delivered to site and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Inspect received materials for quality, specifications, and potential damages.
- Coordinate with procurement and site teams regarding discrepancies or non conforming materials.
- Issue materials to authorized personnel and maintain proper documentation.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of materials in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment.
- Implement suitable storage practices to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration of materials.
- Maintain all store related records, including goods receipt notes, material issue vouchers, stock registers, and inventory reports.
Requirements
- Experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
- Knowledge of HSE and quality standards.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
