About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead commercial administration of major trade packages throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare, review, and negotiate interim valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts
- Manage subcontractor accounts, payment certifications, and back charge recovery
- Monitor package performance against budget and identify commercial risks and opportunities
- Support cost forecasting, budgeting, and monthly commercial reporting
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial procedures
- Evaluate contractual changes and assess their commercial impact
- Support dispute avoidance and resolution through accurate commercial records
- Act as primary commercial interface with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Provide guidance and supervision to Quantity Surveyors and Junior Quantity Surveyors
Requirements
- Experience in commercial administration of major trade packages
- Ability to prepare and negotiate interim valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts
- Experience managing subcontractor accounts and payment certifications
- Knowledge of contract compliance and commercial impact assessment
- Leadership and mentoring skills for junior surveyors
