Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store all incoming goods, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement reports
- Issue items to different departments based on approved requests
- Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase requests when required
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of products (FIFO/FEFO)
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area
- Check expiry dates and product quality regularly
- Coordinate with purchasing, kitchen, housekeeping, and operations teams
- Assist with monthly stock counts and inventory audits
- Follow company policies and food safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a storekeeper in hospitality/hotel/catering environment
- Knowledge of food supply storage, temperature standards, and stock rotation
- Good knowledge of inventory control and stock management procedures
- Experience handling food items, beverages, and hospitality supplies preferred
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills (inventory systems and MS Office)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
