About the role
The Store Manager leads the team in delivering high-quality customer service and product knowledge while maximizing sales.
The role oversees operations, team performance, customer experience, inventory, reporting, and store standards.
Store management responsibilities
- Schedule shifts, assign duties, organize meetings, and manage team calendars.
- Lead sales performance and ensure an exceptional in-store customer experience.
- Develop marketing strategies and enforce operating systems, policies, and standards.
- Analyze market trends, consumer demand, sales forecasts, and competitor activity.
- Prepare sales and revenue reports for head office.
- Monitor customer service and staff performance and resolve or escalate complaints.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new employees.
- Motivate staff and maintain a positive and productive store environment.
- Manage inventory, supplier relationships, budgets, and weekly product restocking.
- Support store opening and setup.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field.
- Five years of retail experience, including at least two years in store management.
- Knowledge of Asian beauty products and current industry trends.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze sales reports, market trends, and customer behavior.
- Experience with inventory management, stock control, budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and lift up to 30 pounds.
Work setting
- The role is based in a retail store and includes on-site training, customer service, store opening, and physical inventory activities.
