Job Summary

  • The Store General Manager is responsible for driving overall store success by combining strong sales leadership, excellent customer service, and efficient operations.
  • The role focuses on achieving sales and profitability targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring smooth daily store operations.
  • Key responsibilities include leading and developing staff, maintaining high service standards, managing inventory and budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Job Description

  • Manage the overall store segmented into backstore Operations and Customer Facing Sales Operations.
  • Drive KPIs such as waste reduction, shrinkage control, warehouse to floor cycle time optimization, and inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee goods receipt and tagging accuracy, ensure on time stocking, and maintain compliance with planogram standards.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to optimize stock levels and minimize inefficiencies.
  • Focus on KPIs like sales per section, customer satisfaction, bundling sales revenue, and customer retention.
  • Drive individual and team incentives such as upselling, cross selling, and loyalty program sign ups.
  • Oversee staff performance across both segments, set clear goals, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback.
  • Develop incentive programs tied to team and individual KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and operational standards while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Monitor metrics such as customer satisfaction, waste reduction, and sales growth to identify opportunities for improvement.
