Job Description
Supervise and organize stewarding operations that support high-quality food and beverage products and personalized service.
Maintain the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in food processing facilities and operating equipment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all stewarding department employees and monitor daily stewarding chemical consumption.
- Supervise sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, and product and service quality.
- Ensure employees follow machinery-cleaning safety instructions.
- Check that service and kitchen operating equipment is properly cleaned.
- Control and document outgoing equipment and confirm proper receipt upon return.
- Participate in monthly and annual inventory and prepare payroll-related documents.
- Attend Food and Beverage meetings and hold at least one monthly stewarding team meeting.
- Keep emergency exits clean, unobstructed, and easy to open from inside.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma or degree in hospitality is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills are essential.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Knowledge and Competencies
- The role requires a hands-on, hardworking, committed individual who adapts easily.
- The candidate should work effectively in a busy environment and remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Relevant competencies include understanding the job, teamwork, taking responsibility, recognizing differences, adaptability, and customer focus.
