Job Description
Recreation Attendant role for a dynamic and self-motivated recreation professional.
The role is responsible for efficient and timely health club area operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Keep the main and children's swimming pools and the complete health club area clean.
- Report maintenance issues and keep sun lounges clean and free of debris.
- Sweep and water down the pool deck and position furniture during morning setup.
- Assist guests arriving at the facility and help clean operational areas.
- Give prospective members facility tours and explain prices and facility details.
- Check changing rooms regularly and clear litter and used towels.
- Report guest complaints to superiors immediately.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
Education and Experience
- A diploma or vocational training in sports or leisure is preferred.
- Previous work experience within a hotel is preferred.
- Ability to swim, physical fitness, and ability to work long hours outdoors are essential.
- Good command of English and good interpersonal abilities are advantageous.
Knowledge and Competencies
- Customer-driven approach, guest service skills, and ability to handle complaints.
- Positive, outgoing, approachable, and sportive character.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork in a multicultural team of colleagues and guests.
- Competencies include understanding the job, teamwork, taking responsibility, recognizing differences, adaptability, and customer focus.
