Job Description
The hotel is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Front Office professional as a Door Attendant.
The role provides customer-focused service designed to make each guest visit memorable.
Guest Service Duties
- Provide professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
- Open car doors for arriving and departing guests and escort guests to the lobby.
- Forward guest complaints or problems to the manager on duty.
Vehicle and Shift Operations
- Control guest car keys and deliver cars within 10 minutes upon guest request.
- Ensure effective handover between duty shifts.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities and current happenings.
Standards and Relationships
- Understand and follow hotel policies, procedures, service standards, and brand expectations.
- Establish and maintain good public relations while meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
Education and Experience
- Vocational training within hospitality is preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel concierge department is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
- Strong interpersonal abilities are required.
Knowledge and Competencies
- Customer-focused, proactive, outgoing, charismatic, and approachable working style.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively with a multicultural team and guests.
- Computer knowledge and additional language skills are advantageous.
- Additional competencies include taking responsibility, recognizing differences, adaptability, and teamwork.
Employment and Workplace
