About the Role
ALBADDAD Group seeks a Steel Project Manager to oversee steel fabrication and erection projects in Dubai. You will develop project plans, coordinate teams, manage budgets, and ensure quality and safety compliance, with a combination of office and field work.

Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for steel fabrication and erection projects
- Coordinate with engineers, estimators, drafters, fabricators, and field teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Identify scope changes and manage change orders effectively
- Oversee fabrication and erection activities to ensure adherence to design, schedule, and safety requirements
- Monitor project progress and performance using project management tools and reports
- Manage procurement of materials, subcontractor coordination, and logistics
- Conduct regular site visits and meetings with clients and field teams
- Track project costs, invoices, and budgets; ensure profitability
- Prepare cost forecasts and financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate project risks and delays
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, project specifications, and industry codes (AISC, AWS, OSHA, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of project management experience in structural or miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection
- Proficiency with steel detailing drawings, fabrication processes, and erection methods
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
- Strong understanding of AISC and AWS standards
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities
- Detail oriented with problem solving mindset
- PMP, OSHA 30, or equivalent construction management credentials (preferred)

Steel Project Manager

Project Planning & Coordination

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and general contractors.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Resolve technical and contractual issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of project management experience in structural or miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with steel detailing drawings, fabrication processes, and erection methods.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
- Strong understanding of AISC and AWS standards.
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities; detail oriented; problem solving mindset.
- Certifications (Preferred): PMP, OSHA 30, or equivalent construction management credentials.
Work Environment
- Combination of office and field work (fabrication shop visits and job site inspections).
- Requires travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.
