Role Summary

  • The Business Development Managers oversee vital accounts and cultivate enduring relationships, facilitating pursuit of untapped opportunities.
  • They are instrumental in pitching for new business and ensuring seamless onboarding of new clients.
  • They formulate and attain sales targets through direct sales channels and draft business plans for all opportunities.

Accountabilities

  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services.
  • Building company credibility, brand value, and trust with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative event concepts and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain long term relationships with existing clients.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Assist clients to use products and services and keep them updated about new features.
  • Oversee seamless onboarding of new clients.
  • Conducting intensive market and competition observation.
  • Consult customer surveys to gauge client satisfaction.
  • Support Corporate Sales Team or Business Development teams.
  • Work strategically to implement operational changes.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous working experience as Key Account Manager or Business Development/Sales Manager for 5+ years in events/exhibitions/rentals/structures.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in marketing, business administration, engineering, or relevant field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas and proposals clearly and concisely.
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of technical, business & contractual correlations.
  • Strategic thinker with customer centric mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Preferred language: Arabic & English.
