Role Overview

The primary mandate is to coordinate asset-management stage-gate assurance and monitoring so requirements, design-review inputs, risks, decisions, and actions are evidenced, recorded, and progressed before handover.
The role supports the Asset Management Governance and Assurance Director across stage-gate reviews, design reviews, and handover-readiness activities.
The role ensures City asset-management requirements are captured early, reviewed consistently, and evidenced under an ISO 55001-aligned asset-management framework.
Stage Gate Assurance Coordination
- Coordinate asset-management assurance inputs for relevant stage-gate sessions.
- Identify, evidence, and review asset-management trigger points at the appropriate stage.
- Monitor requirements linked to operator strategy, operational readiness plans, budgets, delivery plans, asset requirements, and handover readiness.
- Prepare assurance summaries showing review status, open risks, conditions, evidence gaps, and recommended asset-management decision positions.
- Support go, conditional-go, and no-go recommendations using evidence-based and risk-informed decisions.
Design Reviews and Handover
- Coordinate design reviews and monitor asset-management inputs across the review process.
- Track decisions and actions and ensure they are progressed before handover.
- Ensure stage-gate outcomes are reflected in project, readiness, handover, and lifecycle plans.
- Support assurance and monitoring activities under the Asset Management Governance and Assurance Director.
Requirements
- Ability to coordinate asset-management assurance inputs across stage-gate reviews, design reviews, and handover-readiness activities.
- Ability to ensure asset-management requirements are captured early, reviewed consistently, and evidenced against the applicable framework.
- Ability to monitor trigger points linked to operator strategy, operational readiness plans, budgets, delivery plans, asset requirements, and handover readiness.
- Ability to prepare assurance summaries covering review status, open risks, conditions, evidence gaps, and recommended decision positions.
- Ability to track decisions and actions and ensure stage-gate outcomes are reflected in project, readiness, handover, and lifecycle plans.
- Knowledge of asset-management governance and an ISO 55001-aligned framework.
