The Role
The role is a hands-on, high-influence Staff AI Software Engineer position supporting a major Abu Dhabi-based enterprise.
The engineer will design and ship production-grade AI and machine learning systems at scale.
The systems will support core operations, risk, and customer-facing products.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and build scalable AI and machine learning systems from prototype through production.
- Lead technical design decisions across the engineering team.
- Partner with data science, product, and engineering teams to create deployable AI solutions.
- Set and champion engineering best practices, code quality, MLOps, model monitoring, and responsible AI.
- Mentor engineers and act as a technical reference point across the function.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong software engineering background using Python or other relevant production languages.
- Proven experience building and deploying AI or machine learning systems at scale.
- Experience with LLMs, NLP, or applied machine learning is relevant to the role.
- Solid understanding of MLOps, cloud infrastructure, and production AI system design.
- Staff or Principal-level experience as a senior individual contributor or technical lead.
- Comfort working in a regulated enterprise environment.
