About the Role
Crusoe is hiring a Staff Product Manager for its Cloud Infrastructure team.
The role owns the storage product roadmap and shapes customer experience across capacity, durability, and ease of use.
The storage platform supports block volumes, shared file systems, and object storage for demanding AI workloads.
What You Will Work On
- Build customer relationships, understand storage needs, and advocate for customers inside Crusoe.
- Own and prioritize the storage roadmap across block, file, and object storage.
- Define capabilities such as tiering, versioning, backup and restore, and lifecycle management.
- Partner with engineering, SRE, finance, and executives on specifications, timelines, tradeoffs, and economics.
- Analyze markets and competitors, support go-to-market positioning, and maintain product documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of technical product management or product-minded engineering experience.
- Track record of owning outcomes at Staff or Group Product Manager scope.
- Strong customer orientation and experience using customer feedback in revenue and retention decisions.
- In-depth cloud technology knowledge, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Experience building and launching block, file, or object storage products.
- Ability to scope ambiguous cross-functional initiatives with minimal guidance.
- Analytical decision-making, exceptional communication, and direct experience with storage hardware, protocols, or file systems.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with object storage access patterns, public access, and multi-tenant permissions.
- Familiarity with backup, replication, and disaster recovery product design.
- Familiarity with cloud storage economics and hot, warm, and cold tiering strategies.
- Experience managing or mentoring other product managers.
Compensation
- Compensation is listed as up to $200,000-$240,000 plus bonus.
- Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers.
- Compensation depends on knowledge, education, abilities, internal equity, and market data.
