About the Role

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer bridges engineering designs and their execution in a fast-paced production environment.

The role translates complex engineering documentation into the manufacturing ecosystem and improves process efficiency across cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Interpret mechanical and electrical design documentation, including fabrication drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials.
  • Translate design documentation into production-specific information and migrate accurate data into manufacturing systems.
  • Coordinate planning deliverables with purchasing, production, inventory, and project management teams.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing processes and work instructions aligned with engineering document control standards.
  • Lead data-driven initiatives to improve First Pass Yield and Overall Process Effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors on quotes, proposals, and technical support.
  • Maintain ERP planning and manufacturing data and optimize data management workflows.
  • Identify gauges and specialized equipment required for production processes.
  • Represent manufacturing engineering in cross-functional meetings and resolve technical issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience with manufacturing process design, process improvements, and DFMA initiatives.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, mechanical machinery, power electronics, or industrial controls.
  • Experience interpreting fabrication drawings, electrical schematics, and engineering BOMs.
  • Familiarity with sourcing, purchasing, production management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP software, SolidWorks, and Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lead across multiple sites with a geographically dispersed team.
  • Participation in a required drug and alcohol program because the role or facility is safety-sensitive.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior lead or supervisory experience.
  • Lean manufacturing or SSBB certification.
  • Expertise in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
  • Experience with a formal quality management system.

Compensation

  • Compensation is stated as up to $140,000-$160,000 plus bonus, with restricted stock units included in all offers.
