About the Role
Clio is seeking a Staff Product Designer to own the vision and evolution of its design system in an AI-first era. You will drive frameworks, patterns, and standards for agentic product experiences, partnering with product and engineering leaders.

- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define experience strategy, success metrics, and high leverage priorities
- Build deep customer intuition and systems understanding, translating complex workflows into clear direction
- Lead end to end design across multi surface journeys from opportunity framing to high quality execution
- Shape a compelling long term experience vision for your problem space
- Raise the quality bar across a broader product ecosystem through cohesive, accessible, and scalable experiences
- Drive consistency and leverage across teams by strengthening patterns, frameworks, and design system evolution
- Help teams navigate ambiguity and make strong decisions through facilitation and cross functional collaboration
- Mentor and elevate other designers through constructive critique and coaching
- Contribute to design culture and org wide initiatives through Staff level forums
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product Design experience
- Proven ability to design scalable experiences across multiple customer segments
- Experience leading complex, cross team initiatives
- Proven track record of shipping high quality work that solves customer problems
- Deep mastery of UX craft including complex interaction design, information architecture, usability, and visual design
- Proven experience designing AI powered experiences
- Proven systems thinking; ability to design reusable frameworks and patterns
- Expertise in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
- Experience mentoring peers
- B2B SaaS experience preferred

- Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology.
- We are seeking a Staff Product Designer to join our growing Product Design team.
- This role is available across Canada (excluding Quebec) and the US.
What You’ll Do

What You Bring
- 8+ years of Product Design experience. B2B SaaS experience preferred.
- Proven ability to design scalable experiences across multiple customer segments.
- Experience leading complex, cross team initiatives.
- Proven track record of shipping high quality work that solves customer problems.
- Strong product judgment and business acumen.
- Deep mastery of UX craft including complex interaction design, information architecture, usability, and visual design.
- Advanced customer centric practice.
- Proven experience designing AI powered experiences.

- Expertise in modern design and prototyping tools.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.

Salary Range
- Expected salary range for this role is $148,000 to $185,000 to $222,000 CAD.
