About the Role

- Own end to end experience design for AI Search from discovery through launch and iteration
- Define interaction models, patterns, and guardrails for AI experiences across Clio
- Build deep customer intuition and systems understanding to translate complex workflows into clear direction
- Shape a compelling long term experience vision for your problem space
- Raise the quality bar across the product ecosystem through cohesive, accessible, and scalable experiences
- Drive consistency and leverage across teams by strengthening patterns, frameworks, and design system evolution
- Help teams navigate ambiguity through facilitation, decision framing, and cross functional collaboration
- Mentor and elevate other designers through constructive critique and coaching
- Partner with product design manager to uphold quality and craft of design
- Contribute to design culture and org wide initiatives through Staff level forums
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product Design experience
- Expertise designing AI powered products end to end
- Proven experience establishing AI design patterns and principles that scale across teams
- Experience working closely with AI/ML teams to shape product direction
- Proven ability to design scalable experiences across multiple customer segments
- Experience leading complex, cross team initiatives
- Deep mastery of UX craft including complex interaction design, information architecture, usability, and visual design
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
- Experience mentoring peers

What You’ll Do
- Own end to end experience design for AI Search, from discovery and opportunity framing through prototyping, validation, and high quality execution.
- Define the interaction models, patterns, and guardrails for AI experiences across Clio.
- Build deep customer intuition and systems understanding, translating complex workflows into clear direction.
- Shape a compelling long term experience vision for your problem space.
- Raise the quality bar across a broader product ecosystem through cohesive, accessible, and scalable experiences.

What You Bring
- 8+ years of Product Design experience; B2B SaaS experience preferred but not required.
- Expertise designing AI powered products end to end.
- Proven experience establishing AI design patterns and principles that scale across teams.
- Experience working closely with AI/ML teams to shape product direction.
- Proven ability to design scalable experiences across multiple customer segments.
- Experience leading complex, cross team initiatives.

Salary Range
- The expected salary range for this role is CAD 148,000 to CAD 222,000 CAD.
Workplace
- This role is available to candidates across Canada (excluding Quebec) and the US. If located near a hub (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto), expected to work in office a minimum of twice per week on designated Anchor Days.
