Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of work experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant) or equivalent technical experience.
- 3 years of experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, and related frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms and technologies.
- Experience as a software developer, consultant, educator, community manager, product manager, or CTO.
- Coding experience in one or more languages like Java, Python, C#, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP.
- Experience communicating at technology conferences, blogging/writing technical articles, or contributing to open source projects.
- Proven track record of setting technical strategy for large teams and projects.

- Internally, you work with product engineering teams to improve products by conveying feedback, reviewing API designs, and testing new features.

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of work experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant) or equivalent technical experience.
- 3 years of experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, and related frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms and technologies.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience as a software developer, consultant, educator, community manager, product manager, CTO, or consultant.
- Experience in developing or delivering software, including coding experience in one or more languages like Java, Python, C#, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP.
- Experience communicating at technology conferences, blogging/writing technical articles with an existing follower base, or contributing to a popular open source project.
- Proven track record of setting technical strategy for large teams and large projects.

Compensation and benefits
- US: CAD 192000 CAD 279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
- Canada: CAD 204000 CAD 210000 (CAD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

- Paid Time Off: 20 days of vacation per year, accruing at a rate of 6.15 hours per pay period for the first five years.
- Sick Time: 40 hours/year (increased to 69 hours/year for Seattle) including 5 discretionary sick days per instance.
- Maternity Leave (Short Term Disability + Baby Bonding): 28 30 weeks.
- Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks.
- Holidays: 13 paid days per year.
