Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Client or Consultant's primary site representative and oversee daily construction activities.
• Manage contractor activities and coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP, client, airport, authority, and consultant interfaces.
• Monitor schedule progress, risks, delays, corrective actions, project milestones, and operational requirements.
• Review technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, NCRs, and site instructions.
• Inspect workmanship, materials, testing, installation, quality compliance, and construction safety conditions.
• Maintain site records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on activities, resources, conditions, and issues.
• Support progress payments, variations, claims, delays, testing, commissioning, snagging, handover, and closeout documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant construction and site supervision experience.
• Proven delivery experience on large-scale or complex construction projects.
• Proven aviation or airport project experience is required.
• Experience in construction management and site management with direct contractor and multidisciplinary team oversight.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, quality management, HSE, project controls, contracts, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of MEP systems and coordination with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, and related systems.
• Familiarity with Saudi building regulations, international quality standards, aviation facility standards, and civil aviation compliance.

Tools and Professional Skills

• Proficiency with site management tools, Revit, AutoCAD, Aconex, and MS Office.
• Strong leadership, conflict resolution, site coordination, communication, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors, interfaces, and priorities in a demanding environment.

Work Environment

• The role involves active construction site supervision and coordination with contractors, clients, airport stakeholders, authorities, consultants, and project teams.
• The engineer will work with HSE and QA/QC teams to support safe work practices and quality delivery.
