Senior Civil Engineer (Infrastructure)

About the Role

Project Leadership and Delivery

• Lead infrastructure projects through feasibility studies, design development, tender preparation, and construction support.
• Act as Project Manager and Design Lead on complex multidisciplinary infrastructure schemes.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and quality standards.
• Lead design and technical reviews for water distribution, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation systems.
• Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Use Civil 3D and other digital design and modeling tools to support technical delivery.

Stakeholders and Leadership

• Coordinate clients, government authorities, statutory bodies, and external design partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Navigate local planning and approval processes and represent the organization in client meetings, workshops, and regulatory consultations.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Contribute to fee proposals, contract negotiations, commercial management, business development, and client relationship activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer certification through SCE.
• At least 10 to 15 years of professional experience in civil engineering design and infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects from conception through construction completion.
• Expertise in water distribution, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation network design.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and industry-standard digital design and modeling software.
• Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code, local regulations, and approval processes.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Experience with infrastructure projects in the Middle East or similar arid climates.
• Familiarity with sustainable infrastructure design and green engineering practices.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling and integrated project delivery methodologies.
• Professional experience in a consulting or engineering firm.
• Arabic language proficiency.
