Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate marine works including piling, dredging, reclamation, quay walls, jetties, and breakwaters.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, and engineering documents.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor progress, risks, corrective actions, schedules, and project objectives.
• Support procurement evaluations for materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, contracts, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards.
• Participate in planning, resource allocation, and construction sequencing.
• Prepare progress reports, site records, correspondence, and project updates.
• Assist with interfaces, technical issues, variations, claims, and project documentation.
• Attend stakeholder meetings and guide site teams technically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–12 years of marine construction experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
• Proven execution experience on marine EPC projects and marine infrastructure works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and project coordination.
• Experience with technical submittals, method statements, material approvals, and project reports.
• Understanding of project controls, scheduling, QA/QC, HSE, and commercial construction matters.
• Valid UAE driving license.

Preferred and Technical Skills

• Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with EPC contractors on large-scale marine infrastructure projects is noted.
