The Engineer will support a UK region-based infrastructure project from the Bengaluru, India office.
The role provides engineering expertise for water supply, drainage, and sewage systems serving the UK market.
The position includes technical deliverables, project documentation, and compliance with UK regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze water supply, drainage, and sewage infrastructure for UK projects.
- Develop technical drawings and specifications using CAD and BIM modeling software.
- Conduct hydraulic analysis and modeling to optimize system performance.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Review and validate engineering designs for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide technical support from concept through implementation.
- Analyze project data for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Maintain project records and deliver technical outputs on time.
- Communicate technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Have 3-5 or more years of professional experience in wet utilities engineering or related infrastructure projects.
- Have experience with UK-based projects and knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.
- Be proficient in AutoCAD and BIM modeling tools such as Revit or equivalent.
- Understand water supply, drainage, and sewage infrastructure design.
- Have experience with hydraulic analysis and modeling software.
- Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Additional Requirements
- Be proficient in technical documentation and report writing.
- Know UK regulatory compliance and environmental standards related to water utilities.
- Experience with water management systems and sustainable utilities design is preferred.
- The role supports UK-based projects in a remote or offshore capacity.
