Salary
- The salary range is INR 10–35 LPA, equivalent to ₹1,000,000–₹3,500,000 per year.
Employment and experience
- The job type is full-time.
- The role requires 6 or more years of Python backend development experience with production-grade applications.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Design and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
- Build reliable, secure, scalable, and maintainable backend services.
- Implement API integrations, authentication, and service-to-service communication.
- Develop AI-powered and agentic applications with engineering teams.
- Integrate backend services with databases, caching systems, LLMs, and AI components.
- Contribute to agent orchestration and AI workflow implementation.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot backend issues and deliver production-ready solutions.
Technical qualifications
- Strong understanding of core Python, object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling, and memory management.
- Strong knowledge of multithreading and multiprocessing and their appropriate use cases.
- Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI and RESTful API development.
- Solid understanding of API design, integration, authentication, scalability, and backend architecture.
- Understanding of AI agents, agentic application architecture, and agent orchestration concepts.
- Basic understanding of prompt engineering and AI-driven workflows.
- Good knowledge of SQL databases and database integration.
- Experience with Docker and containerization; Kubernetes understanding is a plus.
Preferred experience
- Exposure to large language models and AI-powered application development.
- Experience or exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI frameworks is highly desirable.
- Experience with MongoDB and Redis is advantageous.
- Experience in banking, FinTech, financial services, or customer support applications is advantageous.
