- Lead the design, analysis, and specification of mechanical systems for infrastructure and building projects
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements
- Prepare and review CAD drawings, calculations, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
- Participate in design reviews and support value engineering and constructability assessments
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting
- Support R&D or innovation initiatives to improve design methods and project outcomes
Requirements
- Strong foundation in core Mechanical Engineering principles with proven experience in design and analysis of mechanical systems
- Proficiency in Machine Design, including component selection, system integration, and reliability focused engineering practices
- Hands on experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating, reviewing, and revising detailed mechanical drawings and models
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including scope definition, scheduling, coordination with stakeholders, and risk management
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D), innovation, or continuous improvement of mechanical systems, tools, or processes
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline; master’s degree or professional registration (e.g., PE, Chartered Engineer) preferred
- Familiarity with relevant international standards and codes (e.g., ASHRAE, ASME, ISO) and local regulations applicable in the UAE
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Experience in infrastructure, water, environmental, or building services projects is highly beneficial
- Ability to work on site in Dubai and collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams
