- Define and execute the platform engineering and resilience strategy in alignment with business objectives
- Lead the development and management of cloud infrastructure, platform services, and SRE capabilities
- Establish and maintain reliability frameworks, including SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs, and ensure adherence across platforms
- Drive high availability, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity planning initiatives
- Oversee incident management processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities
- Champion automation initiatives, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices across engineering teams
- Ensure platform security, regulatory compliance, and effective risk mitigation measures
- Optimize cloud environments to improve cost efficiency, performance, and scalability
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and security teams to drive platform adoption and continuous enhancement
- Build, lead, and develop high performing engineering teams
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or cloud engineering
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams
- Hands on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proven experience implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), resilience, and disaster recovery strategies
- Strong experience in incident management and production support environments
- Solid understanding of security principles, networking, and distributed systems architecture
