Responsibilities
- Develop and manage financial models for Solar PV and energy projects, including feasibility studies, tariff modelling, and investment evaluations
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and medium term business planning processes
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Prepare management reports and financial presentations for leadership teams
- Monitor cash flow, forex exposure, banking facilities, and working capital requirements
- Support project financing, due diligence, financial structuring, and risk assessments
- Manage VAT and UAE Corporate Tax compliance requirements
- Oversee revenue recognition, WIP reporting, cost to complete reviews, job costing, and project profitability analysis
- Strengthen project cash flow management, collections, retention monitoring, and supplier payment planning
- Support commercial negotiations with customers, vendors, OEMs, and financial institutions
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial controls, and company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA, or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years of finance and commercial experience
- At least 5 years within the energy, power, renewable energy, or contracting sectors
- Proven experience in financial modelling, project finance, and commercial evaluation
- Strong knowledge of financial management, project finance, and commercial operations
- Experience with project accounting, job costing, WIP reporting, revenue recognition, and cash flow forecasting
- Proficiency in SAP FICO; knowledge of MM and SD modules preferred
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
- Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills

Role Summary
- The Finance & Commercial Manager will lead financial planning, commercial analysis, governance, and project finance activities within the energy sector.
- The role will focus on financial modelling for Solar PV projects, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, contract evaluation, and supporting strategic business decisions.

Qualifications
