Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international business travel, including flights, hotels, visas, airport transfers, and ground transportation.
- Build detailed travel itineraries tailored to individual traveller requirements and business schedules.
- Manage travel requests for executives and VIP travelers, ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience.
- Liaise with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and other suppliers to secure the most suitable travel arrangements and negotiated rates.
- Monitor travel expenditure, identify cost saving opportunities, and ensure bookings align with internal travel policies.
- Provide ongoing support to travelers before and during their trips, assisting with itinerary changes, cancellations, delays, and travel disruptions.
- Maintain accurate travel records, booking information, and reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all travel documentation, including visas, travel insurance, and required entry documentation, is prepared and up to date.
- Build strong relationships with internal departments and external travel partners to deliver an efficient travel programs.
- Review existing travel processes and recommend improvements that enhance service levels, efficiency, and cost management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a corporate travel, business travel, or travel coordination role
- Previous experience working with a corporate travel agency or managing high volume business travel is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of international travel logistics, airline routing, hotel bookings, visas, and travel documentation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple travel requests simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Calm under pressure with the ability to respond quickly to urgent travel changes
- Detail oriented, resourceful, and committed to delivering exceptional service
