GlobalLogic is hiring a Senior Java Developer for enterprise software development.
The role focuses on integrated products, reusable artifacts, software quality, and customer-focused solutions.
Technical skills
- Required technologies include Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Azure, J2EE, Spring, JPA, Hibernate, RESTful web services, RDBMS, and MySQL.
- The role requires proficiency with documentation tools such as Postman and Swagger.
- Basic understanding of Redis caching and Elasticsearch search or indexing platforms is required.
- Agile, Scrum, or Kanban experience is required.
Requirements
- Candidates should have 6–8 years of software development experience.
- Candidates should be strong in core Java and design principles.
- Candidates should have very strong experience with J2EE, Spring, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Candidates should have strong Spring Boot, RESTful web services, and microservices experience.
- Candidates should be proficient with Azure services and database technologies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality code through code reviews and defect-prevention activities.
- Collaborate in small teams to create integrated products in short design cycles.
- Document processes and code and create reusable artifacts.
- Work with technical and product managers to plan projects and activities.
- Develop and implement an architecture strategy.
- Facilitate engineering best practices and solutions that meet customer needs.
