Role Overview

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Java Developer for enterprise software development.

The role focuses on Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Azure, Kafka, relational databases, architecture, and software engineering practices.

Technical Skills

  • Required technologies include Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Azure, and Kafka.
  • The role requires Core Java, J2EE, Spring, JPA, Hibernate, RESTful web services, RDBMS, and MySQL.
  • The role includes basic understanding of Redis caching and Elasticsearch search or indexing platforms.

Requirements

  • Have 6–8 years of software development experience.
  • Be strong in Core Java and software design principles.
  • Be very strong in J2EE with Spring, JPA, and Hibernate.
  • Be very strong in Spring Boot, RESTful web services, and microservices.
  • Have working experience with RDBMS and MySQL databases.
  • Have Agile, Scrum, or Kanban experience.
  • Be proficient with Azure services.
  • Be proficient in documenting processes and code using tools such as Postman and Swagger.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with technical and product managers to define and plan projects and activities.
  • Develop and implement an architecture strategy.
  • Facilitate team collaboration toward software engineering best practices and customer-focused solutions.
  • Maintain high-quality code through code reviews and defect prevention activities.
  • Work in small teams to create integrated products in short design cycles with good documentation and reusable artifacts.
