Description

The client develops premium smart beds using adjustable-bed expertise, sleep science, sensor technology, and data processing algorithms.

The product aims to improve health and well-being through an enhanced sleep experience.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in an appropriate engineering field is required.
  • At least 5 years of professional native Android app development experience is required.
  • Expertise in Android architecture and mobile application design patterns.
  • Experience developing customer-facing commercial Android applications using Kotlin or Java.
  • Deep understanding of Android frameworks, components, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with HTTP and RESTful web services.
  • Exceptional object-oriented design and development skills.
  • Understanding of mobile databases, performance, latency, and security issues.
  • Experience using performance analysis tools and applying mobile security best practices.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Job responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality native Android applications.
  • Write clear, concise, and well-documented code.
  • Provide helpful feedback during code reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
  • Construct, enhance, and troubleshoot native Android applications.
  • Implement complex new features and functionality and build applications end to end.
  • Ensure applications meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
