GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Java Developer with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Azure, and Kafka.
The role focuses on software architecture, development, quality, documentation, and collaboration in small Agile teams.
Technical skills
- Required technologies include Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Azure, and Kafka.
- The role requires strong Core Java, J2EE, Spring, JPA, Hibernate, RESTful web services, and design principles experience.
- Experience with RDBMS or MySQL databases is required.
- The role requires proficiency with Azure services and basic understanding of Redis caching and Elasticsearch search or indexing platforms.
- Process and code documentation should use standard tools such as Postman and Swagger.
Requirements
- Six to eight years of software development experience.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methods.
- Strong Core Java and design principles expertise.
- Very strong J2EE experience with Spring, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Very strong Spring Boot experience with RESTful web services and microservices.
- Experience with RDBMS or MySQL databases.
Responsibilities
- Work with technical and product managers to define and plan projects and activities.
- Develop and implement an architecture strategy.
- Facilitate collaboration around software engineering best practices and customer-focused solutions.
- Maintain code quality through reviews and defect-prevention activities.
- Create integrated products in small teams through short design cycles.
- Produce documentation and reusable artifacts.
