Job summary
Senior AMI Cybersecurity and OT Engineer responsible for securing end-to-end AMI systems, including meters, gateways, HES, MDMS, and networks.
The role leads cybersecurity controls across IT and OT using IEC 62443, DOE UAE, UAE IA, NIST, and ISO 27001.
General responsibilities
- Ensure policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls comply with organizational and legislative requirements.
- Complete reports on time and prepare periodic management and progress reports.
- Comply with organizational requirements in a timely manner.
AMI cybersecurity responsibilities
- Lead OT cybersecurity architecture and provide technical expertise in identifying, monitoring, and remediating threats.
- Develop and update OT cybersecurity policies, procedures, systems, and tools.
- Serve as the AMI cybersecurity focal point for meters and field devices.
- Support secure communications for meters using DLMS/COSEM, TLS, VPN, and encryption.
- Coordinate PKI/KMS, access control, and network security requirements for meter integration.
- Validate meter and gateway security during onboarding and deployment.
- Verify secure data flows across meter, gateway, HES, and MDMS layers.
- Support RBAC and MFA for meter-related systems.
