Position Summary

Standard Chartered's Technology and Innovation team is seeking a Senior System Analyst for CARD-400 credit card systems.

The Senior Associate will support requirements, solution design, development, testing, documentation, and project delivery activities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Gather and validate business requirements and translate them into solution designs, user stories, and backlog items.
  • Develop, test, and document project changes using the Agile System Development Framework.
  • Lead and support credit card system development projects and assist delivery managers or scrum masters.
  • Deliver projects within timeline, budget, quality, risk, and production-stability expectations.
  • Maintain CARD-400 parameters and review parameter change requests accurately and promptly.
  • Identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, compliance, regulatory, and audit matters.

Business and Stakeholder Activities

  • Collaborate with product, interface, operations, technology, legal, compliance, finance, credit, collections, and onboarding stakeholders.
  • Support workshops, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Recommend technology solutions that support credit card and personal loan growth and digital straight-through processing.
  • Provide feedback on challenges, successes, and best practices and drive operational effectiveness improvements.

Qualifications

  • At least 6-8 years of experience with AS400, RPG, CL, PL/SQL, and Control-M.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience with Java, Maven, Git, and ADO.
  • Credit card domain knowledge and the ability to work in an Agile Scrum team.
  • Ability to comply with SDF, QMF or Disciplined Agile Delivery, and risk mitigation requirements.
  • Ability to review junior developers' code and guide junior team members.
  • Knowledge of AR Remedy or Thenon or Aldon is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

  • RPGLE, CLLE, PL/SQL, Java, Maven, Git, BitBucket, Control-M, Jira, and Confluence.
  • AS400 platform, DevOps, CI/CD, Agile, Scrum, System Development Framework, and Disciplined Agile Delivery.
