Job Summary

The Portfolio Manager serves primarily walk-in customers and fulfills transactional requirements through high-quality customer service.

The role increases product penetration through cross-selling while achieving portfolio and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales performance through liability, wealth management, and secured and unsecured asset products.
  • Generate new business through promotions, outbound calls, presentations, and in-branch contacts.
  • Participate in branch sales planning and create action plans for meeting targets.
  • Ensure adherence to misselling and sales policies.
  • Provide high-quality branch customer service and manage difficult customer situations.
  • Process transactions accurately and verify validity, completeness, fees, charges, and exchange-rate concessions.
  • Facilitate first-time resolution, minimize rejections and complaints, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Perform reconciliation and control activities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Handle all kinds of bank transactions and services and support customer up-streaming.
  • Follow ORMA, Group Code of Conduct, KYC/CDD/EDD, and money-laundering prevention policies.
  • Support branch merchandising, housekeeping, store management, upkeep, maintenance, and health and safety.

Skills and Experience

  • Banking knowledge and understanding of front-office and back-office processes and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and sales focus.
  • Diligence, punctuality, interpersonal skills, and team-playing ability.
  • Graduate or postgraduate qualification.
  • 1-4 years of overall experience.

Regulatory and Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and comply with the Group's values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take responsibility for ethical, regulatory, and business conduct standards.
  • Identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.

Branch Environment

  • The role serves walk-in customers and includes branch transactions and premises management.
