About the Role
Accor is hiring a Specialty Chef for Pide at Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi. You will assist the Executive Chef in kitchen operations, supervise staff, control costs, and ensure high-quality food production.

Responsibilities
- Provide functional assistance and direction to kitchen operations
- Interact with clients, suppliers, and other external parties
- Coordinate functions with other Food & Beverage department heads
- Assist Executive Chef in supervising kitchen employees, facilities, and costs
- Control and analyze quality levels of production and presentation
- Ensure optimum performance in cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene
- Assist in production, preparation, and presentation of all food items
- Establish and maintain effective employee relations
- Conduct hiring, orientation, coaching, and suspension of employees
- Assist in preparing menus and pricing policy
- Supervise service of all food items in outlets
- Ensure correct workplace health and safety regulations are maintained

Job Description
- Provides functional assistance and direction to the kitchen operation as assigned.
- Interacts with individuals outside the restaurant including clients, suppliers, government officials, competitors, and local community.
- Coordinates functions and activities with other Food & Beverage department heads.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Executive Chef in supervising kitchen employees, facilities, and costs
- Control and analyze quality levels of production and presentation including employee meals, guest satisfaction, merchandising, operating/payroll/food costs, cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene
- Assist in production, preparation, and presentation of all food items
- Establish and maintain effective employee relations
- Conduct hiring, orientation, coaching, and suspension of employees
- Assist in conducting formal and on the job training sessions
- Assist in preparation of menus and pricing policy considering local requirements, market needs, competition, trends, recipes, potential costs, availability of products, merchandising
- Inform Executive Chef daily of relevant operational and personal matters
- Supervise service of all food items in outlets
- Supervise staffing and rosters to minimize overtime
- Ensure correct workplace health and safety regulations
- Ensure correct ordering and receiving procedures
