About the Role
ADNOC Logistics & Services seeks an Oil Spill Response (OSR) subject matter expert to lead research, develop SOPs, and provide technical expertise across the OSR value chain.

Responsibilities
- Lead research, collation and benchmarking of international OSR regulations, quality standards and best practice
- Advise on implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls for OSR functions
- Develop and facilitate implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for oil spill machinery and operations
- Provide expertise on technical aspects of oil spill response department's activities
- Support design and delivery of OSR training plans
- Attend specialised crisis and emergency fairs and conferences
- Review Group Company Assets' Tier 1 Emergency Response Plans
- Support and counsel OSR teams upon notification of an emergency
- Remain on call as per duty roster to respond to Tier 2 and 3 emergencies
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Marine Management, Engineering or equivalent
- 10 years of experience in crisis and emergency field, preferably in oil & gas industry
- Accreditation: IMO (level 3)
- Certificates: First Aid, Sea survival, Fire fighting

- Acts as an oil spill response (OSR) subject matter expert.
- Provides specialised technical expertise across the entire value chain of the OSR Department.
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Leads research, collation and benchmarking of international OSR regulations, quality standards and best practice.
- Advises on implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of OSR functions.
- Develops, seeks approval and facilitates implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all oil spill machinery and operations.
- Provides expertise on numerous technical aspects of the oil spill response department’s activities.
- Supports design and delivery of OSR training plans.
- Attends specialised crisis and emergency fairs and conferences.
- Reviews Group Company Assets’ Tier 1 Emergency Response Plans.
- Supports and counsels OSR teams upon notification of an emergency.
- Remains on call as per duty roster to respond to Tier 2 and 3 emergencies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Marine Management, Engineering or equivalent

Professional Certifications
