About the Role
ADNOC Logistics & Services is hiring a Heavy Vehicle Operator to drive road tankers delivering petroleum products from Sharjah Depot to customers. The role requires 3-5 years of experience driving heavy vehicles and transporting flammable products, a UAE driver's license, and knowledge of English and Arabic.

Responsibilities
- Drive heavy duty road tankers from Sharjah Depot to deliver products to various customers and filling stations
- Inspect vehicle before loading to ensure routine maintenance checks have been carried out and report defects
- Obtain instructions from Dispatch Supervisor and coordinate loading of products
- Connect and disconnect hoses to storage tanks at customer sites and ensure proper offloading
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations, including use of protective clothing and equipment
- Provide outstanding customer service to ensure customer loyalty
- Attend vehicle in event of accident or breakdown until arrival of workshop crew
- Maintain clean and tidy work environment, including removal of wastes and spillages
Requirements
- Primary School Education
- 3 5 years' experience in driving heavy vehicles and transporting flammable petroleum products
- Knowledge of English & Arabic languages (spoken & written)
- UAE Driver's License
- Familiarity with basics of customer service

Job Purpose
- To drive heavy duty road tankers from Sharjah Depot depots to deliver to various customers, filling station/depots locations.
- To ensure that vehicle is in good operating condition for delivery of products.
- To comply with all safety precautions and standards.
- To attend loading/offloading in the designate facilities.
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Inspects the vehicle before loading to ensure routine maintenance checks have been carried out.
- Obtains instructions from Dispatch Supervisor and handover to loaders to load products.
- Drives road tanker from loading bay to various customer or filling station/depot locations.
- Assist supply operator for connection/disconnection and loading of road tankers.
- Collects Product Delivery Note and hands over to customers for signature.
- Connects and disconnects hoses to storage tanks at customer sites.
- Inspects vehicle prior to usage and ensures suitable working condition.
- Complies with all safety rules and regulations.
- Provides outstanding customer service.
- Performs other similar or related duties when assigned.
Minimum Qualification, Experience & Skills
- Primary School Education
- 3 5 years' experience in driving H/D vehicles and transporting inflammable petroleum products
- Knowledge of English & Arabic languages (spoken & written)
- UAE Driver's License
- Familiarity with basics of customer service
Work Condition
- Physical effort associated with driving road tanker and transporting petroleum products.
- Duties performed entirely outdoors, exposed to prevailing weather conditions.
