Responsibilities
- Carry out all duties as instructed by the Diving Supervisor and Lead Diver
- Participate as a team member in daily toolbox talks to understand activities and eliminate safety hazards
- Review Task Risk Assessments (TRA) before starting any operation
- Ensure personal checks of diving equipment before performing a dive
- Assist divers in difficulty during a dive as a standby diver
- Maintain possession of an approved Diving Medical certificate and inform Supervisor of any medications
- Keep a daily record of diving activities in a diver’s logbook and retain records for at least two years
- Inform the diving supervisor if unable to carry out diving tasks safely
- Participate in emergency drills and provide first line support response capability as part of the emergency team
- Contribute to team members' performance and capabilities by exchanging experience and job related skills
Requirements
- Completed diver training to IMCA recognized air diving qualification
- Three years of experience in general diving operations
- Inspection and maintenance of single buoy moorings (SBM) is advantageous
- Possess an approved Diving Medical certificate

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

- Plan, supervise, and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop assigned staff on relevant skills to enable proficiency and deliver section objectives.
- Provide input for preparation of Department/Section budgets and assist in implementation to deliver objectives.
- Investigate and highlight significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
- Implement approved policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures to support execution of work programs.
- Comply with applicable legislation and legal regulations.
- Contribute to achieving approved Performance Objectives in line with the Company Performance framework.
- Design and implement tools and techniques to improve operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices to define intelligent solutions.
- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, and controls in line with international standards and best practices.
- Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
Minimum Requirements
- Completed diver training to IMCA recognized air diving qualification.
- Three years of experience in general diving operations.
- Inspection and maintenance of single buoy moorings (SBM) is advantageous.
