Role overview

The role coordinates and controls daily activities of drivers and equipment operators.

The position supports safe, efficient, and compliant delivery, collection, and operation of plant and equipment across company projects and customer locations.

The role also covers transport coordination, operator administration, competency verification, and operational documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate drivers and plant operators and allocate personnel and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, site rules, transport regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate deliveries and collections and monitor transport movements.
  • Liaise with workshops, projects, customers, field personnel, and project teams about equipment status.
  • Process timesheets, delivery notes, collection notes, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain operational records, filing systems, reports, and equipment movement tracking.
  • Verify licences, certifications, competencies, and expiry dates before operator assignment.
  • Support audits and inspections and report incidents, near misses, and non-compliance.

Qualifications and experience

  • Professional certification in supply chain or logistics.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian transport regulations and fleet compliance requirements.
  • At least two years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Experience in daily logistics operations within construction, heavy equipment, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
  • Understanding of transport, lifting, plant hire, construction logistics, transport coordination, or fleet operations.
  • Knowledge of HSE requirements and operator competency and licence requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with timesheet processing and transport documentation.
