Job Purpose
Leadership role responsible for governance, oversight, and advisory support across technology infrastructure, connectivity ecosystems, and operational readiness initiatives.
Ensure connectivity and infrastructure initiatives align with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, operational needs, and long-term technology objectives.
Provide strategic guidance across multiple stakeholders while promoting consistency, scalability, and sustainable growth across destinations.
Functional Responsibilities
- Oversee technology infrastructure and connectivity.
- Manage connectivity operations and service readiness.
- Support hospitality technology connectivity.
- Manage service providers, telecom operators, and the broader connectivity ecosystem.
- Provide infrastructure ecosystem governance and oversight.
- Drive cross-destination technology standardization.
- Support regulatory and compliance alignment.
- Lead strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Contribute to division strategy and business plans from the department's perspective.
- Develop departmental business plans, objectives, KPIs, and operational plans.
- Prepare and manage the department's annual budget and monitor financial performance.
- Oversee departmental policies, procedures, KPI development, cascading, and monitoring.
- Ensure effective staffing, professional development, and staff deployment.
- Manage relationships with internal and external customers.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in telecommunications engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is preferred.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in telecommunications, connectivity, infrastructure, technology operations, smart cities, digital infrastructure, or large-scale development projects.
- Experience working with telecom operators, infrastructure providers, system integrators, or giga-project environments.
- Experience operating within complex multi-stakeholder organizations.
- Experience in governance, strategic planning, operations, or program management.
Preferred Background
- Background in telecommunications, connectivity, infrastructure, or digital ecosystems.
- Experience within telecom operators, neutral hosts, infrastructure providers, system integrators, or large-scale developments.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and multi-operator environments.
- Experience in smart cities, hospitality technology, giga-projects, or destination developments is highly desirable.
- Exposure to infrastructure operations and service lifecycle management is preferred.
