Job Purpose

Workplace

• The role is site-based at The Red Sea destination in Umluj, Saudi Arabia.

Operational Management

• Lead daily operations and oversee scheduling, resource allocation, guest flow, service delivery, operational performance, and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure diving activities comply with SOPs, training agency standards, and safety requirements.
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational and guest-related matters.

Guest Experience

• Deliver personalized diving experiences aligned with luxury service standards.
• Manage guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery while promoting a guest-centric culture.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, recruit, onboard, train, and manage instructors, divemasters, technicians, and marine crew.
• Ensure staff maintain valid certifications and required competency standards.
• Foster a high-performance, safety-driven, and collaborative team environment.

Safety and Compliance

• Enforce international diving standards such as PADI or equivalent, local regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee risk assessments, emergency procedures, incident management, and safety equipment readiness.

Assets and Commercial Performance

• Oversee maintenance, servicing, inventory, asset tracking, and lifecycle planning for equipment, vessels, and facilities.
• Manage courses, guided dives, retail sales, budgeting, cost control, pricing, and upselling opportunities.
• Support pre-opening readiness, SOP development, and operational framework improvements.

Environmental Stewardship

• Champion marine conservation and responsible diving practices.
• Ensure environmental compliance and educate guests and staff on marine life protection and responsible tourism.

Reporting and Improvement

• Maintain operational, financial, and safety records and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.

Requirements

• Knowledge of international diving standards such as PADI or equivalent, local regulations, and company safety policies.
• Ability to lead and manage instructors, divemasters, technicians, and marine crew in a safety-driven operating environment.
• Ability to oversee dive equipment, vessels, facilities, inventory, and operational readiness.
