About the Role
Develop, maintain, support, and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite technical solutions supporting enterprise and aviation MRO operations.
Work with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable technical deliverables.
Ensure system stability, performance, security, and data integrity through development standards, testing, documentation, and IT governance.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Information Technology.
Oracle EBS Development and Customization
- Develop, modify, test, and maintain Oracle EBS reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflows.
- Use PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, and Oracle Workflow while following coding, version control, and governance standards.
- Perform code reviews and thorough testing before deployment.
Analysis, Design, and Integration
- Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design Oracle EBS enhancements, maintain integrations, and support configuration and technical enablement of EBS modules.
- Assess impacts and escalate risks as needed.
Support and Optimization
- Provide technical support for Oracle EBS incidents and service requests across environments.
- Conduct root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and coordinate with infrastructure teams and vendors.
- Monitor performance, optimize SQL and PL/SQL code, support upgrades and patches, and complete post-implementation reviews.
Documentation and Testing
- Prepare technical documentation, perform unit and system testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Provide documentation needed for audit requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of hands-on Oracle E-Business Suite technical development and application support experience.
- Proven expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, and Oracle Workflow.
- Experience developing RICEW components and working knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials, Supply Chain, and HRMS modules.
Additional Qualifications
- Oracle EBS technical certification and additional Oracle database or integration certifications are advantageous.
- Familiarity with system integration, troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and aviation or MRO environments is advantageous.
- Strong technical development, analytical problem-solving, communication, quality, governance, and collaboration skills are expected.
