About the Role
Lead the tax function within the Finance department by providing strategic guidance and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Develop tax planning strategies, oversee compliance and reporting, conduct tax research, and provide technical guidance across the organization.
Tax Planning and Strategy
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to reduce tax liabilities and optimize tax benefits.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities with cross-functional teams.
- Provide proactive tax advice on business decisions, transactions, and investments.
Tax Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and submission of tax returns in line with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee tax audits, appeals, and controversy resolutions.
- Monitor changes in tax laws to maintain compliance.
Tax Research and Guidance
- Conduct comprehensive tax research and provide technical guidance on evolving tax laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain tax documentation and support business units with corporate tax, VAT, and international tax matters.
