About the Role
The employer is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Officer - Payroll & Benefits Administration to join the Human Resources team.
The role supports accurate and timely processing of payroll, compensation, benefits, attendance, leave, deductions, and end-of-service transactions.
The position reports to the Team Leader - Employee Relations & Payroll and handles employee records, routine queries, compliance, and confidential information.
Your Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and process payroll inputs including attendance, allowances, salary adjustments, loans, deductions, and other transactions for accurate monthly payroll.
- Maintain payroll and employee records in HR systems and perform reconciliations and preliminary checks to identify discrepancies.
- Process approved salary adjustments, bonuses, benefits enrollment, and related transactions in line with policies and employment contracts.
- Monitor attendance and leave records, process leave transactions, and resolve discrepancies with employees and line managers.
- Assist in final settlement processing for employee separations, ensuring calculations and documentation are accurate and compliant.
- Respond to routine payroll and benefits inquiries and escalate complex matters to leadership.
- Prepare payroll, compensation, benefits, attendance, and separation reports for audits, management review, and compliance purposes.
