About the Role
NMC Health is seeking an experienced endocrinologist to provide professional clinical services, evaluate patients with hormonal diseases, and perform endocrinal procedures.

Responsibilities
- Perform professional duties of an endocrinologist in accordance with delineation of privileges
- Evaluate patients with hormonal diseases in the Endocrinology Clinic
- Provide after hours on call emergency coverage for endocrinology emergencies
- Perform endocrinal procedures such as dynamic hormonal tests
- Provide consultation/referral services to in patient services
- Work with patients from consultation to treatment plan
- Supervise and educate staff nurses, patients, and technicians
- Participate in quality assurance activities (e.g. mortality and morbidity conference, peer review, audit)
- Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards
- Maintain accurate medical records
Requirements
- At least 3 5 years post qualification experience at Specialist level
- Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare authority
- Certification and registration in a speciality recognised by relevant UAE healthcare authority
- Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)
- Eligibility for relevant healthcare authority registration

Duties and Responsibilities

- Participate in quality assurance activities (e.g. monthly mortality and morbidity conference, peer review, audit and chart review)
- Perform additional duties as designated by the Head of the Department
- Provide comprehensive professional and ethical quality clinical services to patients
- Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 3 5 years post qualification experience at Specialist level
- Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare authority
- Certification and registration in a speciality recognised by relevant UAE healthcare authority
- Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)
- Eligibility for relevant healthcare authority registration (e.g. Membership from Royal College / Arab Board Certification / MS / DM)
