About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist in auditing FAB Group’s Finance and Treasury functions and related activities in the UAE and across the international network
- Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with the Annual Plan and work program is completed efficiently
- Conduct audits of processes within Finance and Treasury and assess governance, risk management, and control procedures
- Draft audit worksheets and issues
- Assist supervisors in discussing and finalizing issues with Unit management
- Maintain effective business relationships with relevant external/internal entities and stakeholders
- Assist in investigations/special reviews assigned by Head of Audit/GCAO
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration specialized in Accounting
- Working knowledge of Finance & Treasury activities and processes and associated risks
- Working knowledge of bank and audit policies and procedures, as well as Central Bank regulations
- Good analytical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills

Job Purpose
- Participate in audits covering the activities and processes of Finance and Treasury (F&T) across the FAB Group.
- Provide assistance to supervisors and perform audit activities in line with established internal audit plans, guidelines and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in auditing FAB Group’s Finance and Treasury functions and related activities in the UAE and across the international network.
- Ensure that Finance and Treasury audits are conducted in accordance with the objectives laid down in the Annual Plan.
- Conduct audits of the Processes within the Finance and Treasury and assess governance, risk management and control procedures.
- Draft audit worksheets and issues.
- Provide assistance to supervisors in discussion and finalization of issues and negotiation with Unit management.
- Assist in investigations/special reviews assigned by Head of Audit/GCAO.
- Ensure that all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration specialized in Accounting.
- Banking & Finance International Certificate (Foundation, Intermediate, and specialized in Risk).
- Working knowledge of Finance & Treasury activities and processes and associated risks.
- Working knowledge of bank and audit policies and procedures, as well as Central Bank regulations.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
